Suigin no Jutsu

Description: Very similar to Suika no Jutsu, Suigin no Jutsu allows the user to manipulate their bodily structure, replacing it with a liquid-metal like material that allows them to endure most attacks. Unlike it's counterpart, however, the user is able to break apart at any time, and then reform, but, this technique's biggest drawback comes from extreme temperature changes; heat and cold included. As such, users of this technique typically prefer to avoid combat when their opponent can manipulate heat or cold. They're also unable to regenerate entirely if their is something preventing them from doing so (example: a weapon is stuck in their body).

Description: While the user has Suigin no Jutsu active, the user can manipulate either arm, and turn it into a bladed weapon, composed of the mercury within their body. Due to the fact that the mercury is also poisonous, if it stabs an individual, it releases mercury into the bloodstream of that person, albeit in a small portion.

Description: While the user has Suigin no Jutsu active, the user can manipulate either arm, and turn it into a spear-like, composed of the mercury within their body. Due to the fact that the mercury is also poisonous, if it stabs an individual, it releases mercury into the bloodstream of that person. The spear can induce more poison into a person than the sword.

Description: While the user has Suigin no Jutsu active, the user will bring their arms together, and create a shield to protect themself, which acts as a back up in the case of an attack that could possibly prove too much for their body. Though the shield is strong, it isn't perfect, only able to endure an attack that is one letter grade higher than that of the user.

Clan Backstory: The founding of the Byakuren can be credited to Byakuren, Shingetsu, previously known as Hōzuki, Shingetsu. Shingetsu was a man that was never satisfied with his results, even if they were nothing less than perfect. He felt like there was something missing, and felt this all his life. It was because of this that he soon defected from Kirigakure no Sato, losing everything in the process, including the right to bare the name of "Hōzuki". Shingetsu wondered aimlessly around the world, in search of something to fill that void. Though he never started any fighting, he was still a missing-nin, and as such, was targeted several times by the Kirigakure Assassination Unit several times. Each time Shingetsu would manage to get away, but never killing any of those who would claim his own life.
Day by day, night by night, Shingetsu's restless soul continued to search for that one thing that continued to evade him, that one thing that would complete his existance. The pain of this life, lingering without a reason, void of a purpose, it was too much for him. All the same, he kept pressing on, hoping, just hoping that one day he would find it. In one of his ventures, he met a nice woman who gave him shelter. The woman, Hikari Tengosu, oddly enough, understood Shingetsu's pain. One night, after a home cooked meal, Hikari offered to go with Shingetsu, who turned her down. Knowing he was still wanted, and would always be wanted by Kirigakure, he couldn't bare to endanger her. However, she surprised him with her own type of ninjutsu. Able to trust her strength, Shingetsu at last agreed to let her accompany him.
During their time on the run, Shingetsu soon realized that the thing he desired most...the sole thing that had caused his feeling of emptiness...was the absense of love. One day, after many hours of contemplation, Shingetsu finally confessed his love to Hikari, the sole person that had been with him through thick and then. Hikari, feeling the same way, confessed her feelings to him. Before long, the two secretly were married, taking on the name of "Byakuren", and soon had two children. Kirigakure had since given up on the chase for Shingetsu, which worked in the couples favor. Unfortunately, however, Hikari's ninjutsu was not taught to her, nor did it come to her through a kekkai genkai. Many years before she had met Shingetsu, she was tortured and experimented on. This would show with the children in their later years, their skin turning a deathly pale. Shingetsu was intrigued by this, but never paid it much thought.

Hikari soon died from an unknown illness that would later be discovered as mercury poisoning, saddening Shingetsu who would raise the children by himself. Many years after, the children ended up having their own family. The oldest of the children soon died by the time he hit his mid fourties, again causing an elderly Shingetsu to mourn, who died shortly before the youngest did around the same time as his brother. Hikari and the two children all died around the same age. Between their thirties and fourties, and mercury poisoning the result every time.However, it was soon realized that members of this clan were able to manipulate the mercury that was killing them -- it rested within their cells, making up most of their body. Because of the experimentation that Hikari had underwent, she passed on some resistance to the mercury poisoning. Combined with the Hōzuki's Suika Technique, members of the clan soon developed methods to combine the mercury in their bodies and morph aspects of their body into various weapons, as well as preform their own version of Suika no Jutsu, "Suigin no Jutsu".
