Sunappu - Snap

Sunappu is a technique using the Explosion Release Kekkei Tota. By weaving a short string of handseals, and thrusting their palm towards the opponent, the user creates a small explosion in front of their hand, directed towards their enemy. At direct contact, it can be sufficient to cause shallow punctures/light burns or stun people rather well on a headshot. Undoubtedly, in the hands of a powerful user, this can be turned into a lethal attack. Sunappu is seen as a 'gateway' technique into the Oda Clan's Bakuton techniques, as it's one of the rudimentary forms of projecting Bakuton chakra offensively.


Kurakkuru - Crackle

Kurakkuru is a technique similar to Snap, but different. Through weaving a short string of handseals, the user can project Bakuton chakra, using it to create a string of small, extremely loud firecracker-sized explosions over a line up to a distance of 30 metres away. This can be used as a distraction or disorientation technique, but it's largely ineffective if used for pure damage purposes, as it's loud as fuck but has little offensive value besides little burns and numbing sensations, unless you're accurate and skilled enough to center the explosions over someone's ears so as to deafen them. Which is rather hard in the heat of battle.


Kobashino Bura Suto - Blasting Fist

Kobashino Bura Suto is a technique using the Explosion Release Kekkei Tota. By weaving the required handseals and focusing chakra into their hand, the user can release it on impact, creating an explosive effect similar to the Oukashou technique. Unlike the Oukashou, Kobashino Bura Suto is less controlled, it distributes its force over a greater area, at the cost of some damage. (AKA more knockback then damage. It's about 2/3 the melee power of Oukashou, but can blow a target further away)


Gaibu no Bura Suto - External Blast

A defensive technique, Gaibu no Bura Suto is used to displace Taijutsu attackers or defend against enemy Ninjutsu. By weaving a string of seals similar to Snap, but including colliding the fists against each other, the user can then shout a kiai, to create a powerful wave of force (powerful enough to send people flying away. FUS RO DAH!) over a short range.


Burittsu Danmaku - Blitz Barrage

Burittsu Danmaku is a technique which focuses on the use of Bakuton for the purpose of ranged attacks. The user weaves a string of handseals, then slams their fists together. They then begin to thrust their palms toward a target. Each thrust creates an explosive shockwave from the palm, which strikes with a quarter the force of the Oukashou if it is to hit. Unfortunately, the shockwave is only wide enough to hit a single human target, and the user can only thrust their palms four times with this technique. At point-blank range, though, such as slapping your palms against someone's chest, those four attacks can be enough to cause major damage to the chest, for example, if done in quick succession as melee attacks.


Hassha - Explosive Projectile

Hassha is a ranged attack using the Bakuton. By weaving a series of handseals, the user then brings their hands together (As if charging a Kamehameha) then brings them forward. From their hands, a wispy white sphere of Bakuton chakra the size of a yoga ball flies out. On impact, or when detonated by another, small pulse of chakra, the ball explodes violently, bursting in a three-meter radius.


Kobashino Shintou wo Bura Suto - Blasting Fist Penetration

Kobashino Shintou wo Bura Suto is a technique using the Explosion Release Kekkei Tota. By weaving the required handseals and focusing chakra into their hand, the user can release it on impact, creating a concentrated, thin "line" of explosive force, which can be enough to blow a 2.5-inch-wide bullet hole through wood, or blow off a portion of an unlucky person's torso. It's obvious this is generally fatal on a direct impact with the head. (And messy.)

Bakuhatsutekina Shaei - Explosive Projection

The Bakuhutsutekina Shaei is an advanced technique of the Oda Bakuton techniques. The user weaves a medium string of handseals, followed by an odd seal in the shape of a triangle. (Think Tien's Tri-Beam). They then bring their hands apart and point at a target, projecting Bakuton chakra to that area. There's a slight delay, but the explosion is large, a 10 meter radius, with the force to cause second to third degree burns or even kill weak opponents there and then. For anyone caught in the epicenter, this technique is a death sentence, unless they have some kind of good protective Ninjutsu.


Chimei Tekina - Deadly Implosion

This is the one Oda Hiden Jutsu that relies on direct contact for a few seconds. By weaving a string of handseals, the user prepares for this technique. Within the next twenty seconds, if they are to make contact with their opponent, the user can push Bakuton chakra into them. With fleeting contact, this can just cause a small explosion under the skin, and muscle damage. If this is a strike to the throat, for instance, it can still be lethal. If the contact is more than, say, six seconds, that part of the victim's body explodes violently, causing, likely, limb loss and massive bleeding. A great execution technique if you keep your hand on the back of your opponent's head.
If extended contact is made, say, ten seconds, this can even blow an opponent's entire body apart. It uses a flat amount of chakra, as if you make even fleeting contact, you end up dissipating the full chakra regardless of the effect on your enemy.

Farukon Panch - FALCON PUNCH

The Farukon Panch is the APPARENT ultimate technique of the Oda clan. Unlike the others, this only requires one handseal. It's handseal appears to be forming splayed-out wings with both of the hands. This is accompanied by the sound of flapping wings as the user begins to shine. After this, they rush at their opponent at high speed, cocking their arm back as it begins to flame. As the user nears their impact, the flames shape into the shape of a falcon's body and head. The user strikes their target, causing the image of a winged falcon to appear, which then seems to pass straight through their enemy with the sound of the screech of the same animal. In reality, the user has kept their charge inside their hand. The explosive then explodes, powerful enough to blast a big chunk out of a boss-level summon.


Bakuhatsuno Aruji - Lord of Explosions

This. This is the ultimate Oda Clan Hiden Jutsu. The user, once they discover of and learn of the releasing of this technique, develops a seal on their back, identical to the Oda clan seal, which stores chakra and converts it to Oda-nature Special Bakuton. It can only store a set (Nibi level) amount, but it taps it at unnoticeable degrees over time. This technique allows someone to fill themselves with Oda-nature Special Bakuton Bakuton, but, instead of simply exploding, they can project it wherever they want.

Upon using this form, the user's body appears to carry a pair of wings at their back and a crown on their head, both shining white. The wings cannot be used to fly, but they're an extra limb for the purposes of Taijutsu.

This technique can be used once per six months. While using it, the user can point at a target, to project Bakuton chakra at what their finger is pointing at, within a 40 meter range. There's a slight delay, but the explosion is powerful enough to collapse a building. As well as this, they can shout a kiai to have an effect similar to a B-rank version of Gaibu no Bara Suto, able to send even summons the size of a building tumbling. They can also whip their hands out to either side, to project a flesh-rending explosion from their skin, around 4 meters in radius. While in this state, the user's melee attacks are boosted by their Bakuton, creating an explosion on impact.
This technique lasts for ten minutes or until the user is drained of Oda-nature Special Bakuton. On its dissipation, the user immediately suffers heavy fatigue, and high stress on their body.

Clan Backstory:

The Oda were a peaceful people, initially. Many of the Oda were Samurai, serving the armies of the Daimyo of the Fire Country. Few Shinobi existed within the ranks of the Oda at this time. In the founding of Konoha, many of the Oda left. This is what would become known as the 'main line'. The Samurai attached to the Daimyo died in conflicts later on down the track. Meanwhile, in their alliance with Konoha, the Oda flourished. Sons and daughters of the clan were often sent to the Academy to learn the ways of the Shinobi, or, there were a few that stayed back and learned practical work, such as smithing. They donated to the poor, helped the village economically, raised its orphans, and funded events and festivals when needed.

It was then, that an elementalist of the Oda discovered something completely out of the norm. Through some accident, or perhaps some genetic mutation, the Oda's 'main strain' had developed the ability to convert chakra to an explosive nature, as this elementalist attempted to self-perform a collaboration Jutsu of Katon and Fuuton, only to cause a large explosion in front of himself. Through testing, it was confirmed that basically all of the current Oda had this, and it didn't look like it was something that would be lost through genetics. As such, there was celebration within the clan.

Throughout the centuries, many techniques were invented by the Oda to use their unique art. Some never came to fruition, such as the Slap A Hoe Through A Wall no Jutsu, while others, such as the Farukon Panch, were exalted techniques, kept an Oda secret and passed down their line. Others, like the Lord of Explosions, were more suppressed, the scrolls being sealed to only be opened by those that were worthy of them. Most of these techniques (there were originally hundreds) were destroyed in the fire that destroyed the Oda estate, which existed outside of Konohagakure. Those that survived exist to this day, few of the hundreds.
