Metsuryu Drive ( Rank D/Kekkei Genkai/Can only be unlocked through the same situations as Sharingan for the Uchiha Clan. ) : An amplification technique used by the Metsuryu clan that brings out the true power of their Shadow abilities, at the same time seemingly enhancing their physical prowess to a small degree, particularly their speed. It grants them an aura of shadows that continuously rises from their body. The technique also obscures their eyes, leaving only their round, blank irises visible. Thanks to this ability the clan was capable to create an immunity to the Nara's shadow possesion jutsu.

Metsuryu Roar ( C Rank ) : This technique is similar to Goukakyuu, but instead the user shoots out shadows from their mouth that overwhelm the opponent, the shadows feel like a blast of explosives, however no explosions are seen. However because this technique is so strong it also gives the user a strain on their body after using it more then twice.

Metsuryu Slash ( D Rank/Nin-Tai ): Metsuryu Slash is almost like a regular punch, instead of punching directly the user causes his or her hands to envelop in shadows before punching them, giving the punch more strenght then it would normally have.

Metsuryu Crushing Fang ( C Rank/Nin-Tai ) : The user unleashes shadows from their hands and allows it to take the form of a hand itself, the shadow grabs on to any body part the user wants it to and begins to slowly crush it, the longer the technique stays attached to the body part the more damage it will do. However it takes a load of Chakra from the user to sustain it for medium/long periods of time.

Metsuryu Claw ( D Rank/Nin-Tai ) : This technique is similar to the Metsuryu Slash, however with this attack the user uses his or her shadows to take over their legs, giving their kicking power more strenght then it would normally have.

Metsuryu Waxwing Flash ( B Rank/Nin-Tai ): The user turns their body into shadows and then wraps themselves around the target, assaulting them with a torrent of shadows generated from the hands. It looks similar to that of a pheonix's wings painted black with shadows with a long circle behind it. If the user is capable of using the Metsuryu Intangibility then he or she can become tangible right after it.

Metsuryu Intangibility ( A Rank/Special requirments needed. ) : A Ninjutsu which allows the user to transform the physiology of his/her body into that of the Shadow , making his/her body into a shadow that cannot be touched by normal means. With this technique, the user is also able to fade himself into shadows to move swiftly, dodging efficiently and making surprise attacks. However, if the user is caught while in a tangible form, they are then vulnerable to attacks ( Which means that they're still vulnerable to Ninjutsu/Genjutsu ).

They are able to freely fight the Nara's shadows.

Downs :
They can't learn any other jutsu besides those that are taught in their clan, Kawarami, Suimen and Kai.
They are weaker in the middle of the day.
They are only at their best in the evening/night.
They can be really naïve.
They are weak against Genjutsu.

Clan Backstory (5+ Paragraphs):

The Metsuryu Clan, known for their weak ancestors and depressing past in the previous wars, they were never capable of anything special, and were often used as decoys, because there were so many of them nobody had a problem with using them for suicide missions, however the clansmen themselves didn't like this, but they weren't able to do anything about it, they hated their higher ups, especially the Nara Clan, they were ruthless to their clansmen and were the master minds behind the missions.

The clansmen decided that they would take their revenge on the Nara clan, and studied their every move, their techniques, their jutsu. They only had a few strong shinobi, and they gave their lives away on missions to get their hands on their secret scrolls and information, to their surprise they ended up with alot of knowledge on how to use their techniques and how to fight them, as such they send out a small group of their clan, about seven, maybe eight to leave the village with the scrolls and come back once they made a clan that was strong enough to fight the Nara's.

Years later, after the Nara's found out what the Metsuryu clan did, they decided that they needed to pay for it, and got permission of the village's higher ups to massacre them, they were to weak to use anyway, to them they were traitors. Bloodshed was everywhere, no mercy was given, not even children were spared, but they didn't know that some of the clansmen were already away for years, and thus the clan was able to live on. Nobody thought that the Metsuryu clan would be able to see the light of day again.

However, as time passed so did their generations, eventually the survivors had children, and their children had children, slowly they became unable to use certain techniques but developed their own, it could be seen as their own Kekkei Genkai, an Anti-Nara clan, made for fending off against the shadow users with their own control over shadows, thanks to their mastery and control over shadows they were capable of walking out of their possession jutsu and made their own standing in the rankings, IF they wanted to do that.

The clan didn't do that, they simply went back to the village and acted like strangers, they hid their real name and acted like another useless clan, waiting to take revenge for their ancestors on their enemy. Once their plan came into action more and more bloodshed was secretly spilled, many of both clans passed away, until the leaders decided to stop the war between them, as such the secret war between them was put into their history, but never told to anybody out of their clans or their children. The scrolls with the events were hidden deep, deep inside of their mansions.

Later on the clan decided to tell the village who they really were, hoping that they were finally capable of being themselves again, nothing happened, lucky and happy as they were, but they didn't know that sometimes they were still watched from far away, since they didn't fully trust them because of their past and previous actions. But they still lived on in the village, as time passed their clan was slowly growing smaller, few of them were full blood and capable of using the techniques, untill there were almost none left, like a fire that decayed, their prime vanished.
