Clan Surname: Hoshikujaku

Clan Speciality/Kekkei Genkai: "Mysterious Peacock Method"

Hiden Jutsu List:

Mysterious Peacock Method: Release: The user unleashes chakra so powerful and concentrated, it appears visible as a violet 'flame' resembling the feathers of a peacock. This technique provides a very minor defense against chakra attacks in an unrefined state, and is required to utilize the clan's full array of techniques. As one progresses as a user of the Mysterious Peacock Method, the Cloak can take a more solid form, eventually working to easily blocking projectiles or even punches.

Mysterious Peacock Method: Rope: Allows for one to compress and extend out the peacock-like feathers of the released form into a very thin, but very durable rope of chakra. To cut this rope requires an immense amount of force of chakra, enough that an average jounin (NPC) would be needed to cut a Genin's. This rope can stick to any target it touches to, but requires the user's own physical strength to drag them in.
This has been nerfed off the anime version to be quite cutable.

Mysterious Peacock Method: Manifest: The user is capable of conducing their chakra together into the form of a beast of some sort. This usually is the form of a Dog, Wolf, or similar predator. At very high levels, it takes more solid, intricate forms, such as a Dragon, if the user desires.

Mysterious Peacock Method: Choking Technique: While Rope can connect to and pull things, it lacks much control or density to 'choke' someone. By applying this higher level variation, a user of the Mysterious Peacock Method can grab onto and squeeze a foe's limbs without applying physical force.

Mysterious Peacock Method: Wings: By unleashing a large mass of chakra in the form of a moth's wings. These wings provide a more free range of motion over a short distance, roughly the length of a football field before losing lift.

Mysterious Peacock Method: Destruction Wave: By directing the cloak in a singular direction, the user's capable of launching a wave of chakra capable of easily destroying stone. This however removes any advantages of the Released Cloak for a turn.

Mysterious Peacock Method - Conjoin: By joining two of the same Mysterious Peacock method attacks, they are able to magnify the speed and power of the individual attack. With another Hoshikujaku's permission, they may use their comrade's Meteor chakra as their own, in exchange for greatly draining their comrades' chakra.

Clan Backstory (5+ Paragraphs):

The Hoshikujaku were once a group of Shinobi, without clan nor allegiance, that lived amongst the mountains of Sunagakure in the ages before the forming of the hidden villages. Every day, they existed solely to survive, having no hope but to bind together as a single unit. They were originally a no-name clan, until one day, a star crashed into the mountain range they lived amongst. One of the clan's elders were the first to discover the properties of the Meteor, having been deep in meditation, it is said the Sensors whom existed amongst the group noticed the massive changes in the man's chakra.

Over the centuries, due to the harsh conditions, the clan was blissfully unaware of the short lifespan associate with the Meteor's influence. They usually died before it would get to them, and those who did live to a ripe age were never healthy to begin with, they were mistaken for simply simple cancer. It was not until recent history with general peace that the Hoshikujaku discovered it was the Meteor's effects that were causing these leathal sicknesses. The use of the Star was no longer viewed as a necessity, but rather optional to the clan's members, whom were first taught the terrors of the star's effects on their body after graduation from the academy.

The Clan is usually lead in a power hierarchy, with the strongest members, whom are by proxy those with the greatest control over the Meteor's chakra. This leads sometimes to power struggles over how the star's chakra should be used over Generations, with some trying to seal the Meteor's chakra, and some unsealing it for the Clan's freedom to use.

The star itself is capable of endowing many effects, including disrupting one's chakra to the point of removing their normal elemental nature, permanently replacing it with the Star's own unique chakra. In exchange the sheer power of the star's chakra can reach astounding heights, making their chakra reserves massive compared to others. This in turn has increased their stamina reserves to a similar extent. Star user Shinobi also have a tendancy to be quite violently visible to those with sensory abilities, as their chakra is quite literally not of this Earth, any sensor could designate them apart regardless of experience.

(Sorry, really couldn't think of a fifth paragraph at the moment)
